Senior Portraits | High School Photos | Frequently Asked Questions
What do we wear?
Suggestions are casual wear, a prom or evening gown and perhaps a school activity uniform! Be creative with your senior photography shoot and you'll be rewarded with creative photographs! We have most caps and gowns available, however if you have your cap and gown from your school, that would be best. The National Honor Society drape and gold cords are available also.
How about wearing white?
We really don't recommend wearing white for senior portrait photography for the following reason. White is a high contrast color and it takes away from the faces in most photos. White just gets more attention. We want the attention directed to the faces of the persons in the portrait. The exception to this is a light or white background, such as a high key studio shot. Here, the faces stand out well against the white/light surroundings.
Do you have an outdoor area?
We not only have a 1100 sq. ft. custom studio but also are located on 2 wooded acres with a pond and waterfall. We've even done senior portrait photos on our tractor and riding in our canoe in the pond. Can I bring my car, football, band instrument or other props to use in my high school senior portraits?
Absolutely! As stated above, we're on two acres and have room for car shots and we love it when seniors bring individual props that make their senior portrait photography complete! Note: If a firearm is a good part of your life, they are welcome also, however they would need to checked upon arrival and proven to be clear of ammunition. We are very big on gun safety here.
Can I bring my pet?
You sure can, we are pet friendly. I do highly recommend a cat carrier if you want to bring your cat. Cat's can be somewhat unpredictable in a strange environment.
When are payments due?
Payments for your high school senior portrait photography are made in the following way. First you would put your non-refundable deposit down to secure your appointment. Next, the remainder of your package is paid after you see the proofs and select your photos for printing and retouching. This happens at the end of the photography session.
How does the process work?
First, you need to contact us for high school senior photography appointment. Calling us at 281-320-8644 works the best and we'll set you up with an photography appointment. Next, on the day of the shoot, we'll take the photographs and display them on our large screen monitors and go through a selection process. You'll choose what images you want the day of the shoot. We can email your proofs if you would like them. We will give you a call when your order is ready which is generally a week to week and a half.
